About Fanlistings

"A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. About Fanatique:

Fanatique began as a subdomain on the back of my site, Naddion (now closed). At first, I had just a handfull of fls, but as the list grew, I realised that I needed a domain just for them! I bought the domain fanatique.co.uk on april 6 2004 from UK reg and it is hosted by SurpassHosting.

If you look around, you will see that I don't use any of the php forms that are more commonly used in fanlistings. This is because I prefer the hand-carved approach, and also because I don't trust php. I've lost count of the number of times that someone has asked a fanlisting's members to rejoin because a data base has been lost, or because of hackers. I use a feedback form as a joining form, but it is hosted elsewhere. All of this means that I am likely to be a little slower in adding new members to a list. So please have patience!

The layout was cobbled together using css from Cosmichandmade. The photograph of the horse was bought from DreamsTime. I used Paintshop Pro 9, IE and notepad. This is version 8.
